I have spent the past few weeks working with one of my dogs on tracking different scents over complex terrain with fascinating success. She seems to really take to it. I am not aware of a training center in my area that does this type of training. Plus, as a full time student myself, I do not have the extra funds to send her for training.

Any assistance will be appreciated.

OK so my bully is 1 1/2 and has bitten twice (once at 6 months and last month), both times the same person, my nephew, but the dog was abused when he was a puppy by my nephew and i found out to late . I have never seen him go into dog attack mode except with my nephew, he loves all of my little brothers and sisters, and my neice. He is a very loving dog, although a bit jumpy and he will steal food if it falls on the floor before you have a chance to pick it up. We took him to puppy training when we first got him, then some more training, we socialized him well, he loves all people ( one exception) he loves all dogs, cats do not bother him. Is there training that will help him deal with his aggression i am afraid to bring him to the park, on walks ( we have a huge fenced in yard) well anywhere. What if some one smells like my nephew, or looks like him, sounds like him ext. Is there any kind of training that will help with this? I will do anything, any suggestion? any stories like this
ohhh my sister and i agreed that my nephew will no long be having sleep overs here, and for family get together we bought a dog crate that we will keep in the basement in case we need to use it

ok, so my dog is about 7months. he’s a miniature snouzer (or however you spell it). and i really want the best for him. hes not pody trained and he’s a house dog. we have training pads for him but he still goes in places he shouldnt or right beside the training pad. when my mom has work and im at school. he’s home all day alone wandering the house. how can i train him? should we start crate training? or what? we might consider getting a doggy door so he can freely walk outside whenever he wants to use it.

note: we are not always home so we are unable to always watch him 24/7.

Okay, we found this puppy and I helped bring him back to heath, but I never really cuddled him since he was with my mom. My mom babys him WAY to much because ‘her heart goes out to him’ and so the dog doesn’t get trained right. [goes to the bathroom on the floor and doesn't get yelled at cuz mom flipps out on us] and now I try to punish him and he attacks me so I put him in the cage and keep him in there. But mom lets him out the next minute no matter what I say. Now the dog whines for her when she mearly walks out of the room and I have to be mean to the dog for him to listen to be. I don’t want to be mean to him, but I’m sick and tired of him attacking me and did I mention he attacks my tiny puppy, Kiki! FYI:
He is a Yorkie/German Spitz mix and will probalby be no larger than 10 lbs.
